Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation Supports John Rafferty for Attorney General

PA Pro-life Federation

Political Action Committee

November 17, 2015

Dear State Committee Member,

I am writing today as President of the Board of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation to announce my support for John Rafferty for Attorney General. I have met John Rafferty and know him to be a man of integrity and someone who we can trust to serve our Commonwealth as the top law enforcement agent.

I did not come to this decision lightly. I carefully weighed the important issues. Like many of you, the issue of life is of particular importance to me, my family, my friends and neighbors. I took the time to review the record of Senator John Rafferty and he is a solid pro-life candidate who has not only talked the talk on the issue of life, but he also voted pro-life time and time again. Senator Rafferty also served as the longtime chair of the Senate’s pro-life caucus.

The next Attorney General may well have to make important decisions to protect all life, including the life of the unborn. I can only support a candidate who is pro-life and so I would urge you to join me in supporting Senator John Rafferty for Attorney General.

Sincerely,

Susan Rogacs, Board President

John Rafferty Issues Statement Regarding Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s Law License

HARRISBURG –  Republican Attorney General candidate John Rafferty released the following statement regarding news that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s has suspended Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s law license.

“In light of today’s Supreme Court decision to suspend her law license, I think it’s time that Attorney General Kathleen Kane make the right decision and step aside,” said John Rafferty.  “The Office of Attorney General, the employees who work there and the jobs they do are far too important to have them compromised by the distractions that have resulted from the ongoing investigation into Attorney General Kane.  While the Attorney General is entitled to her day in court, the people of Pennsylvania deserve to have an Attorney General that is fully focused and committed to doing the important work of keeping Pennsylvanians safe.“Additionally, I believe that the Attorney General’s resignation would go along way to boost the morale of the committed and hard working employees of the Office of Attorney General.  They have suffered enough from the endless distractions and controversies surrounding the current Attorney General.”
